Color of Change, a radical group of former Democratic activists which is leading a boycott attempt against Glenn Beck and his show on the Fox News channel, has itself been caught in some shocking racially-charged language.
The group is led by James Rucker (left), and demanded advertisers boycott Beck for suggesting that President Obama has racist views in light of his reaction to the Henry Louis Gates Jr. incident in Cambridge, MA. However, the group, shortly after Katrina, when many facts were still under investigation, said that Bush "would never have left rich, white people to suffer and die". Worse, Color of Change also endorsed a hateful statement by rapper Kanye West that "George Bush doesn't care about Black people" after Hurricane Katrina by selling t-shirts on its website afterwards which read "Kanye Was Right". |

Conservative journalist Matthew Vadum, the Capital Research Center’s senior editor, alleges that Color of Change “incites hatred for profit and to promote its race-obsessed agenda and that’s what it’s doing to Glenn Beck … “Vadum adds that the group “is trying to depict Beck as some kind of a white nationalist crazy, and clearly he’s not.”

Barack Obama's "Green Jobs" czar (one of 42 extra-legal czars), and the founderof the group organizing a boycott against Glenn Beck, is a self-described "black nationalist" and "Communist", who has ties to a former terrorist. Van Jones, founder of "Color of Change", a black militant political activist group, worked as a co-founder and director of the Apollo Alliance, which Glenn Beck recently exposed for its questionable ties to radical left-wing groups. Van Jones worked at Apollo with Jeff Jones. Jeff Jones was a leading co-founder (along with Bill Ayers) of the terrorist group Weather Undergound , who spent time on the run from law enforcement agencies while his group carried out a series of bombings of U.S. government buildings. "Color of Change" began the boycott against Glenn Beck after Beck exposed Apollo Alliance and Van Jones' militant past. |

QUESTION: As the "Green Jobs Czar" and thus a government employee, would Van Jones be violating any laws or ethics regulations if he were found to be encouraging and/or coercing corporate entities that he may be in a position to help or punish through his offices? Have an answer? Let us know. |

Although Color of Change insists that Jones is "no longer active" in their group, he was instrumental in forming its principles and direction, so whether or not he is still involved, his past bears great scruitiny. Certainly even if he is only tangentially involved at this point, his past relationship coupled with his new high-level Administration position overseeing industrial activities could well have a powerful intimidating influence upon companies targeted by Color of Change for this attempted boycott.
Van Jones called himself a "rowdy (black) nationalist" before his arrest during a protest after the 1992 L.A. Riots that killed 53 people. When released from jail he said he came out a "Communist". Jones has since caused controversy and sowed the seeds of racial conflict in places as in Jena, Louisiana in late 2006, when six black teenagers severely beat a white student. Van Jones said the teenager assailants were somehow justified because of past discrimination of African-Americans, and race-baiting marches organized by Jones created tremendous conflict in Jena and across the nation.
Despite Jones' channeling of 1980s racial provocteur and fraudster extaordinaire Al Sharpton, he was unable to convince a jury of his outrageous blame-the-victim defense, all six students were convicted of crimes ranging from aggravated battery to conspiracy.
Remarkably, Jones--an admitted "Communist" is now Barack Obama's "Green Jobs" "czar". Obama has used un-confirmed, extra-legal czars in an apparent attempt to get extremely controversial, radical individuals into government who would never have a prayer of getting through a Senate confirmation. What qualifications does a Communist activist have to create jobs? Should we have admitted and proud Communists in our government? These type of questions would be asked by Senators of Van Jones, and it is inconceivable that he could ever win confirmation given his extremist views.
Now the very activist group this radical extremist founded is trying to force Glenn Beck off the air for exposing the Obama Agenda. If they suceed, then the Fairness Doctrine will already be in effect--without a single vote by Congress. And they have gotten 2 dozen companies to buy into their lies. They must be stopped.
